there needs to be a setting to toggle the running so that holding shift isnt required
also the toggle for moves used in battle resets between using a move on the first turn and on the second turn if it is in any slot other than the first.
other than that game looks really promising so far will definetly be keeping a eye on this one
Love the game so far, my only complaint i havent seen listed so far is that when you turn down the volume sliders, the sound effects from the moves dont get quieter. its no game breaking bug, but it does force me to turn down my overall sound, which i dont want to do
hey i was playing and noticed that when i use aqua ring or drain and my pokemon is raised to full health it says has had 0 hp restored and also sometimes when my pokemon's speed is lowed or defense/Att is says 0 above the health bar. i also noticed when i am in the grass and press the d pad lightly forward the animation for the grass is there but there is no movement just thought i would give you some minor issue reports. other wise all the bugs i was expeirencing before have stopped
This game is really cool (better than the recent Pokémon game) ;) It's exactly what's missing from the new Pokémon games. I hope the game continues to be developed. There are a lot of bugs that frustrate me, like the grass issue. I don’t know if it’s just me, but sometimes I can’t even walk through the grass without getting attacked instantly. Also, I had to use Alt+F4 a few times because the game would stop showing the interface during battles, which left me stuck. And settings like "DOP" work at first, but then stop working after a while. Even though this game has quite a few bugs (which is normal), I really want to congratulate the work that went into this fangame <3

¡Qué juegazo! Llevaba tiempo esperando este juego, y la verdad es que no decepciona. Artísticamente es una maravilla, tiene una buena historia, combates geniales y momentos muy bien logrados. Si acaso, el único detalle negativo es que está un poco desequilibrado en la dificultad, pero fuera de eso, ¡es una joya!

For the people stucked on Yior, just desactivate the exp share or take out of your team the pokemon that is on the inifinite leveling loop, in my case was Metang, not using Metang fixed it
Beautiful game from what I able to endure before the absurd about of bugs and crashes finally became unbearable. Game has insane potential but when I cant load into a new area or even the game without crashing its very disheartening.
Encountered a glitch where after beating Yior's last pokemon, the game keeps giving me the experience and not progressing, I reset back to before the fight and it happened again

Ngl im going crazy rn, stunning game but I have been stuck on the fight against Yior and I just cant beat it been stuck there for 4 hours, most of my pokemons are lvl 30-35 but they just keep being one shoted by the lucario which is why I decided to use some buffs moves on my Swabul when still fighting her other two weaker pokemons to get it to tank more, maybe survive and do some damage on the lucario, sadly the game just either crashes or stops working and im just staring at my screen not being able to do anything, the fight just doesnt continue.
(Edit: Im still going crazy, I have been buffing up my swabuls defense, speed and attack against Gallade to the max, revived all my pokemons so im in a good positon for Lucario and the game just stopped working again)
(Edit: I have given up, the game is just not letting me win this fight, it just stops working every time mid fight)

Dude, you get 300 exp for killing one pokemon and the Team magma battles are non repeatable. That would take me atleast around 1-2 Hours of killing Wild Pokemon to get them all to lvl 40. The problem isn´t rly the lvl´s of my pokemons cause I could kill Lucario if the game wouldnt stop working mid fight, Im buffing my swabul up and then it can take out the Lucario but the game doesnt let me.
My tactic was just buffing up my swabul when fighting her second Pokemon but the game keept glichting out after a few turns. All my other Pokemons were weak to the fighting type of her Lucario and my swabul was underleveld so I resorted to buffing it up and using heals while fighting her second Pokemon. Game didnt let me so I gave in and took like 1 hours leveling up my Swabul to lvl 35, after that the game just took my swabul away from me and replaced it with a Pokemon with the name TEXTBUTTON.
Your starter should be the only one in the fight doing the most damage it’s basically scripted to win that way cause if you always played with your starter in front it should be level 47 by the time you reach her. And the fact is she’s been weakened in the latest patches and I beat her in the earlier ones before they patched her difficulty at this point it’s just a skill issue
Just buy the "Aeroblast" TM from the shop, pretty much any Pokémon can learn it since TMs aren't restricted to types yet. I managed to beat her with a single Golduck on level 37. It one-shot the first two Pokémon, Lucario took 4 hits.
Loving it so far, super nostalgic. Noticed a few bugs during trainer battles where it will randomly freeze, especially against the second grunt with Lotad. Also, when my wurmple evolved, the game froze after the evolution screen. I also cannot get the fullscreen/window toggle to work in the settings, but that might actually be my own lack of know-how rather than a bug. Unsure. But keep up the good work! Love love LOVE this when it is working properly.

I keep running into the same issue when it comes to certain trainer battles, I've had to constantly save before hand and then soft reset to fix it. It's random and there's no avoiding it until the bug is fixed.
I just finished the demo, and while it was incredibly buggy (every issue mentioned by user @blash96 also happened to me), I still pushed through—and I’m so glad I did.
Here’s my honest take:
This is, without a doubt, one of the best Pokémon experiences I’ve had in years. I’m not including ROM hacks like Pokémon Unbound in that—this is better than any official Nintendo release since the Switch era began imo. It captures the old-school feel of what a Pokémon game should feel like, and that’s something i think fans like me (who’ve been playing since Red and Blue) have been missing for a long time.
That said, the bugs definitely affected the experience:
I constantly had to soft reset and save after nearly every step to avoid soft locks.
A major issue was the trainer not throwing Poké Balls at the start of battle.
Despite all that, the game’s Visuals and music, ARE AMAZING!.
I have no doubt the dev is aware of everything and will probably be reading the comments closely. If that’s the case, I truly believe the full game will become a classic in the fan-made Pokémon scene.
If you're looking for a real challenge in the final battle, skip the Dragonite—he can basically solo everything.
I’ve been having a lot of issues with the menuing such as the main fight menu appearing while having my bag open and the buying menu still open when closing out of the shop.
Dragonite and Onyx definitely helps in the final boss. i did not really struggle, i just used blazican and one shot all three pokemon. but the game over all was go.
I played through the entire thing now, overall a great experience! The final fight was kind of strange due to the high levels of the opponents. I was only able to beat them because I had captured Dragonite and Onyx, thus it felt like cheating. Still, for a demo it was awesome!
I also love to see that you constantly post updated versions. Looking forward to all the bug fixes :)
For pokemons that can use "bounce" it just stay in the sky forever i also experencing the infinite exp after having a battle fight with the boss/one of the main character sometimes the pokemon just not showing in the battle scene
I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH REALLY LOOKING FORWAD TO PLAY THE FINAL VERSION IT MUST BE AMAZING

One think i'd add for qol is mouse controls in the menus / battle for people who dont wanna use a controller

A lot of trees are now dissapearing on my face, it was working fine on previous versions
I mean they are totally dissapering, im even able to go through zones where there should be trees

I recommend not saving directly in front of him because I believe that's how my file got corrupted

pokemon disappeared on me on two different versions of the game after purchasing TMs
I found an infinite xp bug, you have to soft reset this part every time, an infinite experience bug always happens here

This is where the grind comes into play get your pokemon at least to level 40+

If I can beat Yior with 2 Pokemon without glitching the game there’s something wrong with your play style

I'm on Lenovo Legion go I'm seem to have connection issues because it detects it as computer inputs and controller inputs
my game got stuck mid battle and no button seems to do something to continue the game. Is this a complete soft lock or how can I resume the battle?

im pretty sure its based off some status effects like dodging moves or flinching if the opponent cant take their next turn the game bugs out
Have you tried toggling the joystick when this happens sometimes the UI just disappears and that's how to bring it back

Cool demo but I'll wait for playing this again when it's more stable because my Vulpix losing Ember due to a bug is not fun lol
