battles are bugged, moves deal different damage than they should, why my dragon claw do less damage than my ember (ik there is stab but it still shouldnt do that much damage) or maybe it just says the wrong number idk
buggy, PP bugged (share with the last move), flinch and 2 turn moves also dont work, and accuracy bugged, and apparently the TM's also dont work, cuz the moves only change name but still have the same stats
I've come to ask has he fixed the PC eating your Pokémon glitch or are they still disappearing after a couple minutes or after a 3rd copy of the same Pokémon
We're basically the beta testers for this game. At least he's looking over our comments and adding a new patch every couple hours but sometimes a new patch and new fixes brings back old problems
Hi, I'm playing the demo on the desktop and have encountered bugs within the first 15 minutes of the playthrough. After evolving my mudkip after a battle with the magma grunt by the tent that needs a passkey at the PC the game froze and wouldn't allow me to move. I had to reboot to fix it. After entering the area just past the ledge I was leaving the grass and the game threw me into a battle with no pokemon present and no menu options for me to flee, had to reboot to fix the issue. Small grass patches spam pokemon battles and make it extremely difficult to leave the patch. I had one square of grass spam 4 battles.
whats up with the level scaling? going from a level 8 to a level 14 battle, then a level 20? Idk if im tripping but seems a little off. This might just be early game, and im not AGAINST level griniding, but its still a tad annoying for sure.
EDIT: I think everything looks super fucking dope!! The cinematics IN battle are awesome.
It's a demo they wanted you to get your starter up to it's final evolution for the boss fight in the Ashen Forest along with the rest of your team so you can fill in of what there is of the 52 Pokemon Pokedex, small but doable in the demo
First off, the game seems really great. Looking forward to seeing it in its full extent! The graphics are also really good looking, the artistic choice definitely seems like the right one.
Now for the bug reports: - The move "Bounce" is bugged. I tried it a few times with Combusken, but the second turn doesn't trigger and soft locks the game - Not sure how it happens because I only notice it afterward but my avatar sometimes gets "partially shifted". Meaning that the sprite appears to be slightly moved horizontally or vertically compared to the position it is supposed to be at.
Other than that, I only got the usual soft locks reported by a lot of people every now and then during battles.
Found another bug when your battling the Magma Grunt in this part of the demo after you defeat him you can't more from your location or enter into options to save that section so you have to hard reset it and the issue still happens whenever battling him.
Found a bug, went into options and enabled settings to the highest for everything, resolution on 1440p. As soon as you walk on the stairs there isn't no collision or a invisible ramp to act as stairs to allow you to walk up so you just walk straight through the mountains.
Great game so far! Here's a list of a few bugs I found:
Swablu can learn "Baby-Doll Eyes" on level 28 although it already knows it.
The fights get stuck quite a lot. For me, especially on wild Swablu encounters, the enemy will not do anything on their turn and the menu disappears.
The same happens when my Vulpix uses "Pound". After jumping, there is a high chance it will not come down on its turn and the game gets stuck.
During the fight with Mercenary YIOR, the enemy Pokémon's health bar disappears randomly stays invisible for the rest of the fight. Also, the fight feels quite unfair. The difference between the level 30, 35 and 40 Pokémons is too big and grinding your own to level 40 on level 18 to 25 mobs in the forest is tedious.
You need to restrict TMs to certain types. My Mightyena was able to learn Bolt Strike, Aqua Tail and Blue Flare, which makes it quite overpowered.
Been experiencing that whenever the game crashes here and there mid game it also causes my pc to auto restart itself back into windows sign in home screen.
Sometimes when this happens just toggle your right joystick a bit then it should reappear if not just soft reset by holding the menu button then the button you hold to run at the same time. Save every 5 minutes and save before every grunt battle it will help you a lot
Made an account just to comment, but the game has soft-locked on me 3 times while still battling team magma grunts, making me have to reset and lose progress. Also, no system in place to tell you what a move does when a pokemon tries to learn it, if you choose to learn it, there is not an implied button to change your mind, so you have to learn it. Otherwise, the game is gorgeous and reminiscent of the stylization of earlier pokemon games while including the graphical advancements of the modern era, somewhat similar to Gen V, I hope to see great things come from this.
at least u get to learn moves I got two starters i also think thats a bug but both my starters have more than 4 moves i dont get the option to teach them a move just says they learned a new move. i can also go into the pokemon summary and see the extra moves but i cant move them around
As someone who lost their Shiny Beldum to a corrupted save make a copy of the save file in a separate folder after getting it so you don't need to do it all over again

Has anyone gotten the shiny Beldum yet? I've reset it like 500 times and still haven't gotten it.
Someone has alr gotten one but theyre file corrupted so the save is deleted and shiny beldum is gone now,
Also the chances are 1/2096 for a shiny if youre wondering
That was me and its been like 2 days retrying and still nothing. So I don't know if it's been locked or not

Cute game, but needs A LOT of work. Many annoying bugs must be fixed to be playable...good luck, developer.

I fixed it by just spamming tf out of the A button on my controller and it let me continue the dialog. Hope this helps

15 attempts and my first shiny starter came out, now for Beldum.
Pdta: One detail I like is that the main screen shows the Pokémon you have in your team, even their shiny variants.

I played the game, sometimes it freezes but is a demo, no complain.
This game is AMAZING, it gives me childhood feelings, cant wait the full version. still trying the demo for bugs and stuff.
