Hello every time i try to start a new game i get this message saying: Pure virtual function being called while application was running (GIsRunning == 1).
I was getting this too! I did what someone mentioned in another reply by dragging it out of the folder and onto the desktop, but another way that worked for me was simply reinstalling the game through itch... it took seconds and fixed the game completely. Hope this helps!
ain't no fucking way. All my pokemon fainted and you tell me i don't get to keep the ones i catched since the last checkpoint? this is incredibly stupid.. Got a shiny and its now completely gone.
hey i got graphic card 1660 ti and it doesnt want to start its says i need to update to 500 and something and rn its on 400 and somthing i updated it and still i doesnt work there were multiple options when on navidias site and i pick the first one and stil doesnt let me play any help?
How can I save the setting? I can't save it , every time I change the setting and back to the main menu it goes wrong. I hit __ but nothing happen, it didn't save anything.

3. At the Main Menu Options change the settings to low for graphics, and make sure DoF is turned off. Do the same in the in-game options and then save. (Side-note, Main Menu settings may not save, they are separate menus)
4. Open file properties, change to compatibility mode windows 8, right click on the program to properties, then compatibility mode for windows 8 click it on.
5. Make sure hardware specs are up to date(spec). Apus don't work for the engine, only GPU and CPU machines works (Steam Deck work for some reason.)
6. Reinstall after uninstalling it (back up save), After reinstalling, use the launcher in game file (make sure not to delete your save file hence the back up your save).
7. If above doesn't work, please reinstall or repeat the steps above, if issue still persist contact one of us. Or contact panic.
1. battle can get stuck, meaning after the pokemon makes a move, the options BAG, POKEMON, RUN and FIGHT all go missing, then the battle is just stuck while the music keeps playing and the camera shows multiple angles of the characters and pokemon on the field. Need to ssoft reset and re-fight the battle again. Can occur with Trainer and Wild Pokemon battles.
2. Some Pokemon abilities are missing, like Beldum and Starter-mon (i chose Mudkip) are missing their abilities.
3. When Mudkip evolved, it was missing its Ground typing on Marshtomp. And still missing its ability, which I think should be Torrent.

The game keeps turning my shiny Pokémon into regular Pokémon when I evolve them, and I can't figure out a workaround, so I'm just leaving them in a box now
When i try to add the exe as a non-steam game it wont load the game and i cant select the whole file as a non-steam game. Whenever i get to the gender selection screen i choose my gender and my game just freezes every time. anyone know how to help?
Have you tried to use Proton-GE? I use GE-Proton9-27 and it works (mostly) fine. (Though I needed to set all settings in-game to lowest possible to get through the initial cutscenes.)
The game is impressive, and it gives a nice change compared to ALL of those RPG Maker XP Pokémon Essentials, they all ressemble each other even the best ones. But unfortunately, the game is FULL of bugs, and when I say this, I'm not joking. There are so many of them, it's ridiculous. I don't know what's your plans for this game, if this is just a technical demo to show off what you'r capable of, or if you want to do a complete game, but if this is the latter, this need a lot of work. I had to quit at the moment you fought Mercenary Yior because I managed to beat her but right after, I had a crash that closed the game. I already had a lot of bugs before so here goes the limit of my patience.

How did you save the changes in options when you switched it from full screen to windowed? I'm on pc

When I entered the Ashen forest, anytime I get close to the rest area i get a fatal error, I saved too close to it and now my saved game wont start

only bugs i've encountered aside from the ones I could find below are these:
sometimes the stat inspection screen wont go away if you open it but the rest of the game remains playable underneath
using bounce seems to softlock the game until i force quit

sooooo.... i have a decent pc. why cant i start a new game? r9 5950x with a 3080 10gb, 32gb ram. i cant even start the game without it crashing
I mean, it is a demo. What worked for me though is deleting the game and then extracting the zip file again. Takes like 10 seconds.
