Amazing game like truly the best pokemon game! The graphics are just the best! Here are the glitches that I faced from playing this game from the month of May and October: - PP of some moves did not go down after using them, essentially making them able to be used infinitely (my quick attack, absorb, and pound all had this issue until i restarted the game) - The settings menu would never save my settings - Sometimes in battle, the game would start to glitch out where none of the buttons would work (had to hard reset to fix it)
- Checking the pokemons summary would do the same thing as the problem stated above (glitch out and not be able to exit that screen, pokemon would be sent out infinitely, buttons won't work, etc.) - The mailbox shaped like a delibird at the beginning of the game also presented the issue where I could not exit it/none of the buttons worked after using the mailbox - When I fainted, it reset all my pokemon to their starting level and reset the game almost to the very beginning
Hope these comments find you and hope they help! This game is going to be the biggest thing in recent Pokemon video game history so I am looking forward to the progress!
Hello, I wanted to report a bug crash that is happening to me, is giving error when entering the game when gives new game, the following error is this "Fatal error: WindowsPlatformMisc.cpp] [Line: 439] Pure virtual function being called" what can I do to fix?
So just some quality of life adjustments that I noticed probably need to be fixed sooner rather than later:
-When a move is being learned, please add its name to every dialogue screen. Because if the player misses where it says what move it is the 1st time it's mentioned, they won't get a mention of what move it is again until after it's learned. It's a bit frustrating.
-The spawn rate of Pokemon in the grass is through the roof right now. I got stuck in a clump of grass endlessly getting into battles with wurmple until I reset the game multiple times.
-The music in world on the map is much lower than the music in battle. I have to constantly adjust the volume on my computer.
-Is it by design that we get money every time we defeat a wild pokemon vs a trainer? I didn't realize pokemon carried cash and that we shook them down for it and rummaged through their pockets every time we knocked them out! Not that I'm complaining, but it's an amusing idea.
-SOMETIMES, things are on top of each other, like in the image I attached. This goes for text as well as images.
Also also, the "restore" button in the Pokemon menu doesn't do anything. You can only heal pokemon from the bag menu.
Also, when the move "bounce" is used, the Pokemon using it yeets itself into outer space, never to be seen again, and the battle freezes.
Also, I just had my Ludicolo, that I just evolved from a Lombre using a water stone, evolve from and into something invisible during the evolution screen and nowit looks like this in my pokemon menu...
Just Started playing and walked into tall grass and my walk along poke walked into the same space as me putting the mon away easily fixed it and some text during the opening stays on screen when new lines pop up nothing crazy but omg I would pour hundreds into this game keep up the good work mate
I saw a comment on the other website from where you can download the game how to launch it and start a new game without it crashing.
The different options were :
- Add it in Steam as a Non-steam game (also easier if you play with a controller thanks to Steam-input (from what I understood))
- Or if it shows "Fatal error: File:D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\Core\Private\Windows\WindowsPlatformMisc.cpp] [Line: 439]", don't start the game that's named "PokemonEmerald.exe" when you first open the "windows" file. Instead, go to the file that says PokemonEmerald, Then go to binaries, then win64, Then you'll see "PokemonEmerald-Win64-Shipping.exe" in the win64. Run it as administrator and it should work! If it doesn't, relaunch it a few times and it'll work :)
And while you're playing : DON'T FORGET TO SAVE OFTEN, 'cause it's still a demo, and it crashes sometimes, and it doesn't save automatically
FIRST I WOULD LIKE TO SAY I THINK ITS FANTASTIC KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. THE GAME FREZZE MID BATTLE I BELIVE YOU SHOULD ADD A QUICK SAVE IN THE GAME SO WHEN IT DOES MESS UP OR STOP WORKING ITS SAVED TO THAT POINT IN THE GAME WITHOUT HAVING TO START OVER AND GRIND LEVELS AGAIN
Unfortunately I’m unable to play because every time I hit ‘new game’ the game crashes and gives me ‘fatal error’ notifications. I hope this gets fixed soon, so excited to play!
This is by far the best looking Pokemon fan game I've played. I do agree with the comment below that the option to lock the framerate would be nice as the GPU utilization on my 4070 ti Super is quite high. Otherwise, I patiently await more! This is really amazing work. I'm loving the original story so far and the free Beldum at the beginning is perfect. Metagross has always been one of my favorite Pokemon!
I found a softlock by accident while playing. If you save on a spot where a boulder would be, when you reload your game you'll be stuck inside of a boulder. You are able to call the HM pokemon, but you aren't able to move the boulder because your inside of it, as of right now my save is currently softlocked because of this!
The game is real good, but te usage of GPU is to high probably by the FPS with no limits, i se many simple games with simmilar problems. I think a limit on 60 FPS or 120 FPS must get a better performance with less usage of Video Memmory.

This is what it looks like when I swap it to slot 1.
And when i go to battle with it, there is nothing on the screen..
It's not there at all when I go into the pc. (Also, can you fix Combusken's head? He looks like he's too short for this ride lol)
And actually... now that I went into and back out of my pc, the "button text" treeko seems to be fixed by disappearing altogether.
I'm out one Ludicolo oof..
